This photo was taken the same day as Ice Storm, from almost exactly the same spot in Core Creek Park. Something struck me about this gigantic tree in the middle of a desolate corn field. The photograph was cut into strips and meshed together vertically and horizontally over a richly collaged background, with the entire tree redrawn in pencil.
