Artist Statement

This installation invites a look at the aesthetics of one human response to “natural” curiosity: sketches, notes, photos, and found objects from natural settings, originally made and collected as exercises in curiosity, are presented as though they are works of art. The collection includes reflections on the natural landscapes of Pennsylvania, Florida, Georgia, New Jersey, and other places.
