Note: As of January 2005, Ben Schacter and Jef Lee Johnson will not be performing at Highwire on Mondays until further notice. We regret this turn of events and hope to work with both of them in the future.

Highwire Monday Night Jazz Series

Since October of 2002, The Highwire has been proud to present the music of Ben Schacter and both his "Trio of Many"and "Sung-Unsung" ensembles on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month. Previously Ben had maintained a nearly 5 year presence at another Old City club and we hope he can continue to enliven our gallery atmosphere for a long time to come.

Jef Lee Johnson
has signed on to the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month, bringing his unique vision of modern music to the Highwire Monday Night Jazz Series. We look forward to experiencing the new directions that Ben and Jef are taking their respective composing sensibilities for both the saxophone and electrified guitar.
