Artists Eric Franz and Susan Moloney co-curated this four-person group show and asked me to create a poster. Photographer and graphic designer Roger Cook provided me with the image of the doll's arm to which I added the wristband.
For the annual Side by Side art show at Highwire Gallery, each member shows work with an invited guest. The heads are Van Gogh and Gauguin.
For the 2010 show, my poster design was influenced by the Russian designer Aleksandr Rodchenko. The heads on the ballplayers are Monet and Manet.
This poster was created for a two-person show with myself and photographer Lisa Spera. The central image was created by combining one of her photographs with one of my paintings.
Highwire Gallery has a juried group show every February with the theme of Love. In 2009, the show was juried by Philadelphia sculptor and muralist Isaiah Zagar.
